NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF AUDIT 2023/2024

The audit of accounts for Llangynhafal Community Council for the years ended 31 March 2024 has been concluded. The annual return is available for inspection by any local government elector for the area on application to The Clerk at Rhos Newydd, Gellifor between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Mondays to Fridays, when any local government elector may make copies of the annual return. Denbighshire Local Development Plan (LDP) 2018-2033

Work is underway on the new LDP for Denbighshire and consultation has taken place on the Preferred Strategy which looked at vision, objectives, key policies for employment and housing and the establishment of a Candidate Site Register (land submitted for consideration). Additional candidate sites were submitted during this process but Denbighshire make it clear that no decisions have been made on any candidate sites and they are not planning applications. The County Council is now working towards the next formal consultation stage later this year which will be the Deposit Plan including land allocations. The submitted sites for the Community of Llangynhafal currently under consideration by Denbighshire are listed below:- Llangynhafal - Land at Carneddau for affordable housing. Llangynhafal - Roadside land at Wern Fawr. Gellifor - Land between Bryn Teg and Glasfryn which is within current LDP. Gellifor - Land between Y Berllan and Wern Cottage.
